OUR STORY

Brooklyn Delhi is a premium Indian food brand making sauces, chutneys and ready-to-eat meals that bring bold, delicious flavor to everyday cooking. Founded by cookbook author Chitra Agrawal and her husband, designer Ben Garthus, our family business was born in a small Brooklyn kitchen with a mission to share the Indian flavors Chitra grew up with in a fresh, modern way.

What started at farmers markets across NYC has grown into an award-winning brand loved by food critics and home cooks alike, with products now available in grocery stores across the country.

FLAVOR IS OUR THING

We're obsessed with creating the rich, complex flavors of Indian cooking using premium ingredients and recipes rooted in tradition, but not bound by it. Our simmer sauces are made with over 15 spices, slow-cooked onions and thoughtfully sourced ingredients, down to the type of coconut cream and variety of mango. Every detail matters because great flavor doesn't happen by accident.
